Children’s Support Initiative

Mochary Programs was the founding donor to the Children’s Support Initiative (CSI), which is run by Nikki Sherman, a psychotherapist employed by the State of California.

CSI serves the interests of poverty-stricken families who are not eligible for any other existing aid and sometimes find that the needs of their children, whether they be physical or material, exceed their financial means. When a child needs braces, a wheelchair, speech correction lessons, sight-saving books, nursing care, costly medicines, hearing aids, therapy, glasses or some other service, CSI is there to provide the help needed for the children. CSI serves children from infancy to age eighteen.

CSI pays no rent, no salaries. By keeping operating expenses to a minimum, CSI provides greater service to the children whose lives it seeks to improve. (www.childrensupport.net) under construction
